5 Days Rift Valley & Maasai Mara Safari

Overview - Discover Maasai Mara National reserve and Great Rift Valley lakes Naivasha and Lake Nakuru and the Hell’s gate – the only walking and cycling park.
While in this tour you will be able to visit 3 Parks; Maasai Mara known as the ‘7th wonder of the world’ -wildebeest Migration, the pink Lake Nakuru home to millions of flamingoes and home of the white and Black Rhino, Hells gate and Lake Naivasha – in this park there are a lot of different activities like walking into the gorges and boat ride and cycling and viewing of the great Rift valley escarpment.
Itinerary
After breakfast, depart to Lake Naivasha, which is about 5.5 hours’ drive. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and then later proceed for a Boat Ride to Crescent Island where you will be walking among wild animals and enjoying them up-close. This island doesn’t have any predators that can attack either the animals or the humans, so walks on the Island very close to the animals are very common.
This morning we leave Naivasha and head for Lake Nakuru National Park, regarded as the greatest World ornithological spectacle on the earth. The park is famous for its millions of flamingoes lining on the lake shore, arrive by mid-morning at Lake Nakuru for a game drive en route before checking-in at a hotel for lunch. Afternoon game drive followed by a walk along the shores which will allow us to see many wild animals in the park. Accommodation in a Lion Hill lodge or similar on full board.
After breakfast, depart to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, via the Great Rift Valley and Narok town. Lunch on arrival followed by our first thrilling afternoon game drive in this immense open grassland dotted with flat-topped acacia trees; you will have the opportunity to observe the magnificent game of the African wild in their natural habitat.

The Maasai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Morning and afternoon ‘Spice’ game drives are planned. Large mammals are varied, abundant and easy to see. Resident among the parks mammals are; Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Impala, Zebra, Topi, both the Thompson’s and Grant’s Gazelles.
Accommodation at Keekorok Lodge or similar on full board.
After breakfast depart the Maasai Mara for Nairobi. Stop for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley en-route. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Drop off to your hotel or transfer to the airport in time for your flight back home.
